The Scalextric Classic Extension Pack C8036 is an older track expansion pack designed to be compatible with the classic, or "Sport," Scalextric track system. It contains pieces to extend a layout but cannot be mixed with newer "Sport" track without special adapter pieces (C8222). However, any track extension pack from the "Classic" range can be used with any other "Classic" pack to expand a layout, from simple ovals to complex circuits. Compatibility: Designed for the classic (or "Sport") Scalextric track system. Expansion: Extends the size and complexity of existing track layouts. Mixing tracks: Cannot be combined directly with newer "Sport" track, but adapter pieces (like C8222) are available to join the two systems. Usage: Any two or more "Classic" extension packs can be
used together to build more complex layouts
