The #51 "Fruit of the Loom" Lancia Beta Monte Carlo in the Zolder DRM (Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft) race on August 24, 1980, was driven by Hans Heyer. The car was entered by the private German team GS-Sport (Gerhard Schneider) with sponsorship from German Fiat and Fruit of the Loom.
In the Zolder race, Heyer qualified in 2nd position in the Div. II race and finished the race in 2nd place. He went on to win the overall 1980 DRM Div. II championship with this car.
