Racing Legacy
The Lola B98/10 was a Le Mans Prototype built by Lola Cars International for use in various sports car racing series, including the International Sports Racing Series, American Le Mans Series, and 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was designed as a cost-effective yet capable prototype, intended for privateer teams. The B98/10 featured unique design elements, such as blunt fenders with headlights mounted on the side, and a variety of engine options, including a Roush-designed Ford 6.0 Litre V8, turbocharged Ford V6, Lotus V8, Chevrolet V8, BMW Inline-6, and Judd V10. A total of eight B98/10 chassis were built.
In the 1999 season, teams like DAMS and Kremer Racing campaigned the B98/10 in the European Le Mans Series, achieving notable results. DAMS secured four wins over the season, earning them third in the teams' championship. At the 1999 24 Hours of Le Mans, DAMS entered the B98/10, but unfortunately, none of the cars finished the race.
