Revell Monogram Ford Mustang Shelby GT350-R #98
The Revell Monogram Ford Mustang Shelby GT350-R #98 refers to an iconic release that particularly enjoys fame as 1:32 scale slotcar (article number 08370 / 85-4866) from the early 2000s. The model is a faithful replica of the legendary 1965 Shelby GT350R race version with which Ken Miles raced his first official race at the time.

Key Features of the Slotcar

Historical Design: Made in the classic white color, with start number #98 and the recognizable black/blue "Essex Wire" racing stripes.

Detailed Interior: Although it is a functional racing slot car, this series is known for the exceptionally sharp scale details in the interior, which at the time set the standard for model fidelity.
Drive & Technology: The car has an inline placed short-can engine at the front (approx. 18.5K rpm) and is equipped with a neodymium magnet for extra grip on the track.

Compatibility: This is an analog model that runs directly on tracks like the Carrera Evolution. To use it on a modern digital racetrack (such as Carrera Digital), a digital decoder chip is required.

Because of the age (more than 20 years old) this model has become a popular collectible nowadays. It is mainly found via platforms such as eBay or specialty stores in vintage slotcars
