The Fly Car Model Porsche 917K #70 "Campeones" is a legendary 1:32 scale slot car released under reference number W02 (in collaboration with GB Track). This sought-after collectible pays tribute to legendary Spanish racing driver Álex Soler-Roig, who dominated Spanish motorsport in 1970.

Features

Model & Number: Porsche 917K with starting number #70, the configuration with which Soler-Roig was driving on the Jarama circuit at the time.

Color & Performance: Performed in a signature white base with livery details from the Spanish Escudería Nacional and sponsors such as Garvey and San Patricio.

Exclusive Extra: This model is part of the special "Campeones" series and comes in a luxury presentation box including a loose, hand-painted metal figure of the driver himself. The vehicle on the track does not have a built-in driver.

Compatibility: The car is fully functional and can be used directly on traditional analogue 1:32 slot racetracks such as Scalextric, Ninco, Carrera and Superslot.

Historical Context

In the 1970 racing season, Álex Soler-Roig piloted this brutal, 12-cylinder Porsche 917K. He made a deep impression on the world of motorsport by winning no less than six of the seven races in which he appeared with this car at the start. Except on permanent circuits like Jarama, he even raced spectacular races on tight street circuits like Alcañiz's with the 917K
